Good morning and welcome to my Blog!
Todays card was inspired by the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge #517. And this was our challenge:
Fall is on my mind for sure when I looked at this challenge that was all I could think off. The region I live in still battles heat indexes! We need a break, especially my flowers.
For this card challenge I used two stamp sets. My choice was Country Home and Gather Together. The Gather Together set will be available to purchase on September 4th with the debut of the 2019 Holiday Catalog.
The colors for this card are Crushed Curry, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla. I had some old DSP left from last years catalog and used it for this card. My base card is Crushed Curry and measures 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. The first layer is Soft Suede cardstock and measures 4″ x 5-1/4″. The second layer is another Crushed Curry cardstock piece and measures 3-1/2″ x 5″. The DSP measures 3″ x 4-1/2″. For the image I used Soft Suede and Very Vanilla cardstock. Gather Together set was used for the image. The background was stamped in Soft Suede. The pumpkins came from the Gather Together set and I used Pumpkin Pie cardstock and Pumpkin Pie ink. The Gather Together set comes with coordinating dies and is available in the new 2019 Holiday Catalog. I thought this makes a great fall card combining two stamp sets together.
