Butterfly Gala

New month, new challenge!

Hello and thank you for stopping by today. New month, new challenge is my motto for this month. I am participating in another challenge which will expire tomorrow.

This is the sketch which inspired me to a new card creation.

And this is what I came up with:

When I looked at the sketch,  immediately the Butterfly Gala stamp set came to mind. I had some old DSP left from the last Occasions Catalog I thought would go great with this project. My base card is Basic Black cardstock. I adhered a piece of DSP to the base card. The red 2″ wide strip is Real Red cardstock. Next I simply cut out a small piece of DSP using the stitched rectangular shapes. I used the stitched Oval to cut out the sentiment. The sentiment came from the Varied Vases set. The Butterfly Gala set has a coordinating Butterfly Duet Punch (sold separately). My material list is as follows:

joyful butterfly stamp set

Butterfly Gala stamp set – 148580 – $21.00

sweet dual butterfly punch

Butterfly Duet Punch – 148523 – $18.00

vases stamp set

Varied Vases Stamp set – 146644 – $26.00

deep black paper

Basic Black Cardstock – 121045 – $8.75

red paper cardstock

Real Red Cardstock – 102482 – $8.75

If you are interested in purchasing the rest of the Butterfly DSP email me Kerstin@crazyaboutstampin.com. I have a variety of 5 full sheets left. Click on Products to find out how much and see a picture of the Butterfly DSP.

Very pretty, Kerstin! This sketch was perfect for this DSP for sure. I love how the red contrasts with the black and white gingham paper. Thank you for sharing with The Paper Players!
